“Let go of what you cannot hold”
Peace begins the moment you stop gripping what was never yours to carry. This week, open your hands — and notice what stays.
What is truly yours will not need to be gripped.
There is a particular tiredness that comes from holding on — to outcomes, to other people’s choices, to the way we thought things would be.
Try this simple practice: close your hands into fists and hold them tight for a few breaths. Feel the effort. Then slowly open your palms and rest them on your knees. Notice the difference in your shoulders, your jaw, your breath.
This week, each time you feel yourself clenching around something you cannot control, return to open hands. Let go — and notice what stays.
